In the Spring of 2009, I went to New York for three months to work as a writer on Season 3 of Logo's The Big Gay Sketch Show. It was a total blast to work with such a talented bunch of writers and performers, all of whom have gone on to do incredible things. I wrote a Ann Coulter Cover Girl commercial that features Kate McKinnon as Coulter and she literally turned into a horse at the end. Then where was the L Word collectible plates commercial I wrote. I still have my Leisha Hailey as Alice plate as a souvenir. My proudest moment was probably a sketch I wrote for Episode 3 entitled "Two Lines with Glenn Close" featuring the brilliant Nicol Paone as Ms. Close. In the sketch, Glenn goes to recording studio to lay down two lines of voice-over for a "Damages" Cadillac voice-over but she's such an artsy-fartsy actress she can't just do lines dry so it takes all day long and everyone goes a bit nuts including Stephen Guarino as the starstuck studio manager and Paolo Andino as the fed up Cadillac executive.
